General [Notice] Adjusting compensation limit for uninsured goods (SG Local delivery) 2015-03-12

Effective 1th Apr. 2015, the maximum compensation amount limit of uninsured goods for the delivery section bound to Singapore air cargo manifest will be changed among Qxpress delivery service regulation.

 

 


1.     Change point


The maximum compensation amount will be adjusted if Customer’s cargo is not covered by QXPRESS’s cargo shipping insurance to the delivery section bound from Korea to Singapore Standard and the local delivery section in Singapore: USD100 -> SGD300

All parcels in excess of the scope of compensation should be insured.

3.     Changed Clause in Terms of Service (Qxpress SG Local Standard Terms and Conditions)

9. Claims

(5) Without prejudice to Clause 8 and provided that Qxpress is satisfied that your claim is justified, Qxpress’s liability for any loss of or damage to the Delivery Item shall be limited to maximum USD100 per consignment or be based on the price indicated by the sender on the waybill, whichever is lower.

(6) In the case of damage to the Delivery Item, the amount of compensation by Qxpress shall be based on Qxpress’s assessment of the extent of the damage to and the actual cash value of the contents of the Delivery Item provided always that the amount of compensation shall not exceed USD100. In the case of loss of or damage to the Delivery Item, Qxpress shall have the option of either replacing the Delivery Item or making monetary compensation within the USD100.
